Requirements

• Design and create electrical/electronic hardware and firmware of commercial products based on product specifications
• Develop circuits for circuit protection, GFCI, ELCI, lighting, transfer switches and other products
• Develop firmware for products such as AC power monitors
• Balance design based on cost, requirements, and time to market
• Create manufacturing in-process test requirements and test sets as required
• Prepare and maintain documentation and use configuration management system for keeping records of schematics, test results, changes, etc
• Perform and participate in DFMEA
• Follow engineering processes
• Support product through lifecycle and supply chain issues
• Perform design reviews and product cost out analysis
