Job Description
Southwire Company, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to support maintenance and production process teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an ABET accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools
- Displays competence and a good attitude
