Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day manufacturing in a fast-paced textile environment. The role involves leading a team of 40, managing financial aspects, and ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and quality. Strong operational expertise, financial acumen, and servant leadership are essential.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in textile manufacturing, preferably inwoven product operations.
- Strong manufacturing background with proven success in leading plant operations and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on, ‘lead by example’ management style suitable for smaller operations (40 employees).
- Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with financial statements, cost accounting, and operational budgeting.
- Proven maintenance acumen with TPM program experience.
- Experience withVanderwheel velvet looms or similar equipment.
