Job Description
This Product Stewardship Specialist role involves providing regulatory support and guidance on chemical and finished product safety, including SDS requirements and compliance. The role requires collaboration with compliance and regulatory professionals, authoring SDSs, and monitoring GHS activity. It focuses on ensuring adherence to global chemical standards and fostering a robust hazard communication program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene or related field
- 3-5 years working in a regulatory affairs or product compliance/stewardship function
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing and/or R&D operations (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills, working with SDS authoring software (preferred)
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) knowledge
