Job Description
Space Machines Company (SMC) is seeking a Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) Lead to develop and deliver precision spacecraft maneuvering, stability, and mission success. The role involves building the full GNC architecture for Optimus Viper, optimizing algorithms, integrating with real-time embedded systems, and leading a team. It is a clean-sheet development position with opportunities for rapid growth.
Requirements
- 7+ years in GNC engineering
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python
- Deep expertise in simulation environments (SIL/HIL)
- Experience with real-time embedded systems and flight software integration
- Track record of delivering GNC solutions that have flown
