Pharmacist

As a Pharmacist at SpartanNash, you will be responsible for the efficient, ethical, and lawful compounding and dispensing of prescription pharmaceuticals. You will advise customers on the use and storage of prescription and non-prescription drugs, and oversee pharmacy technicians as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field required
• Three years experience in pharmaceutical department
• Pharmacy License (in good standing) required in the state of operation
• Immunization Certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, pharmacy laws, rules, and guidelines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service skills
• Strong multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment
