Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Certified Child Life Specialist to join our Child and Family Life Team at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in child life, child development, or a related field, and completion of a 600-hour Child Life Internship. Certification as a Child Life Specialist is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in child life, child development, child psychology, early childhood education, recreational therapy or related degree
- Completion of a 600-hour Child Life Internship
- Certification as Child Life Specialist (CCLS) - CLCC through the Child Life Certification Commission
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)
