Under the supervision of the OTR, the COTA implements treatment programs for patients with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial dysfunction. The individual in this position is required to appropriately interact with all patients regardless of age or culture and to adhere to the Beaumont customer service standards.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university occupational therapy assistant program
- CRT-Occupational Therapy Assistant, Certified (COTA) - NB-COT National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certified or eligible Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association preferred Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross preferred
