The RN Emergency Center position at Taylor Hospital involves providing professional nursing care to patients in a 22-bed Emergency Center and Level IV Trauma Center. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. The RN will also partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies and document education and learning in the health record.
Requirements
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years if new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire/transfer
- ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer
- TNCC within 1 year of hire/transfer
- ENPC within 15 months of hire/transfer
- Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
