Job Summary: Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Essential Functions: Provides evidence-based nursing care, communicates and collaborates with other members of the health care team, acts as a patient/family advocate, and performs point of care testing.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 (SHGR)
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2016 (SHGR)
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
- CRT-Oncology Nursing Society - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Except Medical Oncology CHS 1 Year required
