Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to join their new Ambulatory Care Center in Dumfries, VA. The role focuses on providing comprehensive internal medicine services within a medical home care model, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The physician will offer preventative, acute, and chronic care across all organ systems, including diagnosing and managing complex conditions.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
- Completion of accredited post-graduate medical training (internship and residency) in Internal Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Current unrestricted DEA certificate
- Minimum of one year of experience within the last three years as a Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Proficiency in English
