We are looking for a highly experienced Edge Network Engineer to lead complex edge, network, and cloud platform deployments. The role requires exceptional technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead both technical workstreams and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Type 1 and Type 2 hypervisors (e.g., KVM, VMware)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies; experience with lightweight Kubernetes distributions (e.g., K3s) preferred
- Strong understanding of networking principles including routing, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, NAT, Routing protocols and proxies
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing network interfaces, both physical and virtual
- Prior experience with SD-WAN deployment and management; Versa SD-WAN experience is a strong plus
- Proficiency in using tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, iptables, netstat, and other network diagnostic utilities
- Experience with cloud service providers such as Azure or AWS, including VM provisioning, datastore configuration, and SSO setup
- Comfortable working with REST APIs and using tools like Postman, Swagger, curl, and Python scripts for automation and testing
- Awareness of secure deployment principles; familiarity with TPM, encryption, and measured boot is a plus (can be trained internally)
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Bash scripting
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM platforms for Project/Change/Incident management
