Requirements
- Senior RF Engineer with 10+ years' experience in managing satellite ground stations and associated equipment
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of earth stations operation, RF equipment, electrical equipment like UPS units, generators, etc.
- Ability to plan, design, and implement telecommunication systems
- Capable of designing, building, configuring and commissioning devices, networks, and systems, and ensuring systems interconnect with equipment from different manufacturers, service providers, and users.
- Oversee the installation of telecommunications equipment and facilities.
- Capable of analysing the needs of the organization and translate the requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Monitor and test systems and peripheral equipment, identify and diagnose faults, and troubleshoot problems. Evaluate system performance levels and improve capabilities as needed.
- Assess performance levels of system hardware and software to project future needs and develop short and long-terms plans for updating equipment, adding capabilities, enhancing existing systems, and providing improved telecommunications.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company's policies and OHS procedures.
- Maintain highest levels of telecommunication security and protection.
- Collaborate with various internal groups and external vendors to ensure all installations meet specifications, ensuring the resolution of problems as they arise
