Job Description
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative, secretarial, and support services to the Executive Assistant and Spokane Tribal Business Council. The position requires independent judgment, technical knowledge of tribal activities, and effective communication skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required, and 2 years' experience in professional positions
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to type 60 words per minute
- Must have strong computer and word processing skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Demonstrated ability to use proper English, spelling, grammar, and punctuation in business correspondence
- Strong transcription skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality of all matters
