Job Description
Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is seeking an experienced and motivated Engineer – Transmission Services to lead the modeling and analysis of the SPP electrical transmission system. This role involves performing engineering analyses, coordinating special studies, and supporting the Transmission Services department in collaboration with SPP staff, members, and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Calculus-based engineering field
- Professional Engineer license (preferred)
- Advanced degree in related field of study (preferred)
- Electric utility industry experience (preferred)
- Proficient with SPP power systems analysis tools (preferred)
