Job Description
Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is seeking a Supervisor, IT – Infrastructure Security Patching to lead a team of IT professionals in securing critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in prioritizing complex tasks and driving projects to completion.
Requirements
- Lead and supervise a team of IT personnel
- Plan, prioritize, and assign tasks to ensure project and operational objectives are met
- Monitor hardware and software vendor communications
- Research, remediate, and mitigate security vulnerabilities on server hardware and operating systems
- Coordinate with system and application owners to schedule installation and testing of security updates
- Promote continuous improvement and automation in patching and vulnerability management processes
- Support SPP technical committees and working groups
