Job Description
Spring Dell Center, Inc. is seeking a passionate Music Therapist to provide therapeutic services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The role involves designing and implementing music therapy sessions, assessing participant needs, and fostering emotional, cognitive, and overall well-being. Music therapy aims to improve quality of life and promote community integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy (or equivalent)
- Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC)
- Maryland Music Therapy Licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Physical capabilities (lifting, pushing, pulling)
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Experience with developmental disabilities
- Musical skills (guitar, voice, piano)
