Job Description
The CT Technologist II is responsible for performing CT scans, assisting physicians in diagnostics, and ensuring quality images. The role involves preparing film, obtaining patient information, maintaining equipment, and adhering to clinic protocols. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of anatomy, computer skills, and patient interaction abilities.
Requirements
- Produce quality CT scans
- Good knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Ability to identify pathology and provide radiologist with accurate measurements
- Maintain patient logs and report to the Advanced Imaging Operations Manager
- Comply with facility safety and HIPAA guidelines
- Maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
