Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic procedures, assisting physicians, and maintaining equipment. This role involves operating radiographic equipment, processing films, assisting with patient transport, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Knowledge of computer systems (RIS, EHR, PACS) and general scheduling is also required.
Requirements
- Obtain a complete history on patients.
- Produce quality radiographs.
- Select proper technical factors for each individual patient.
- Operate equipment as directed.
- Must be able to lift patient from cart.
- Knowledge of general scheduler duties.
- Knowledge of general scheduling duties.
- Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
