Engineering Supervisor

Mecho is hiring for an Engineering Supervisor for their Commercial Business Unit in Long Island City, NY. This onsite, remote-work-not-an-option position involves managing engineering for custom designs and existing products, ensuring product development is efficient, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality and reliable products. The role supports both Grow the Business and Run the Business activities, focusing on product lifecycle management and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 8+ years of experience with product development in a high production environment
• 3+ years of people management experience including leading teams
• Consumer goods/consumer durables manufacturing experience is required
• Customized product experience is a plus
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Inspirational leader, innovative thinker, strategic mindset, demonstrated change-agent, passionate about quality, strong working knowledge of DFM, FMEA, VA/VE, Test Plans, Cost Modeling and LEAN initiatives, and ability to collaborate across functional areas.
