Information Governance Officer/Senior Officer (Banking sector)

This position is for an Information Governance Officer/Senior Officer at a banking institution in 6th of October City, Giza Governorate, Egypt. The role focuses on ensuring data security, classification, and protection, while complying with industry standards and security policies. This includes maintaining inventory, liaising with security teams, reviewing access controls, and monitoring compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree of Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent
• Officer: Minimum 4 - 6 years of experience in IT, Information Security and/or Governance, Risk and Compliance
• Senior Officer: 6 - 8 years of experience in IT, Information Security and/or Governance, Risk and Compliance
• Risk management background
• Recommended Certifications (SANS Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), OISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, OISO)
• Very Good command of English and Arabic languages
• Very Good Communication skills
• Very Good Time Management skills
