Mechanical Engineer- HVAC

As a Mechanical Engineer- HVAC at SSOE, you will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for various types of buildings, working independently on calculations and design layouts, and communicating with clients. You will also assist the team in preparing design documentation and calculation sheets, and have the potential to grow a team reporting to you.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BE / B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 6 to maximum 10 years of experience in designing HVAC systems
• Experience in conducting Heating & Cooling loads calculation or energy requirements for a building
• Experience in creating duct layouts, pipe layouts, mechanical rooms & sections, air riser diagrams, water riser diagrams, and refrigerant riser diagrams
• Experience in HVAC system sizing, selection, static calculations, and pumps head calculations
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, IMC, IECC, IBC)
• Experience in working in Revit/AutoCAD software's to prepare design layouts
• Experience in coordinating design model with other disciplines like Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural using Navis Software
• Experience in successfully managing client communication
• Willingness to work in evening hours to facilitate communication with teams in the USA
