Job Description
St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) to direct acute nutrition therapy for patients in a rotating, PRN position. The CNSC will perform nutrition assessments, develop nutrition orders, monitor patient status, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to achieve positive patient outcomes. The role emphasizes a compassionate, high-quality patient experience and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Perform a comprehensive nutrition assessment
- Determine nutrition diagnosis
- Write orders for appropriate nutrition therapy
- Monitor medical status to adjust interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Initiate, change, and discontinue enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Educate patients about disease states
