Job Description
St. Paul Academy and Summit School seeks candidates for the position of Girls' Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach. The coach will work closely with the head of SPA's Varsity Girls Lacrosse program and be responsible for promoting good sportsmanship, teaching lacrosse skills, and developing individual players' abilities.
Requirements
- Create a positive environment that promotes good sportsmanship towards players, officials, spectators, and teammates
- Assist with instruction of players in rules, regulations, and techniques of lacrosse
- Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities
- Assess players' skills, monitor players during competition and practice
- Assist with determining game strategy
- Individual player development
- Assist with supervising transportation
- Tracking statistics
- Creation of scouting reports
- Follows established protocol in the event of an injury
- Participates in special activities to include parent's night, banquets, and award ceremonies
