Sr. Privacy Counsel

Stack Overflow is looking for a high caliber, experienced, and creative privacy attorney to join the legal team. We are looking for someone experienced to join as a true strategic partner and build trust with those around them.

Requirements

• Support the business (product, engineering, etc.) to build trustworthy, privacy-first products and services
• Provide subject matter expert advice in connection with regulatory investigations, individual complaints and enquiries received related to GDPR
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in areas of data use and protection laws and advising the impact of the same on Stack’s business
• Support product lawyer in evaluating impact of privacy laws, regulatory guidance and enforcement actions, and other related guidelines on new and existing products and features
