Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure using IaC tools, operate AWS services, and manage on-premises servers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cloud/platform engineering/DevOps supporting hybrid environments and proficiency with IaC tools, scripting skills, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
Requirements
- Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Operate AWS services (EC2, Auto Scaling, Load Balancing, ECS/EKS), and manage on-premises servers (Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V)
- Manage hybrid networking (Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, firewalls, load balancers)
- Implement observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix), centralized logging, and incident response
- Maintain SLA/SLO targets, capacity planning, and cost optimization
- Apply security best practices (IAM, Active Directory, encryption, compliance)
- Operate and maintain databases including AWS RDS/Aurora, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Manage HA/DR solutions (Always On, clustering, replication, read replicas)
- Perform database backup, recovery, migration, and performance tuning
- Execute hybrid database migrations and integrations with AWS services and enterprise systems
