Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Gear Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in the production of gears and our other products for our customers. This new position will be a gear expert within our Engineering department to support both of our facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in high volume gear manufacturing
- Experience in generated heat treat recipes, metallurgical experience and gear design required
- Solid understanding of gear types (spur, helical, bevel, etc.) and gear cutting methods
- Familiarity with CNC machines, CAD/CAM software, and gear design software
