Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Soil Field Technician to join our environmental team. This role involves collecting soil samples, analyzing soil data, and assisting with environmental assessments. The ideal candidate is passionate about fieldwork and sustainable land use, and will contribute to our mission of promoting soil health.
Requirements
- Collect soil samples from designated field sites
- Record and document sample locations, conditions, and other relevant data accurately
- Prepare soil samples for laboratory analysis
- Operate and maintain field equipment
- Assist in conducting on-site soil surveys and environmental assessments
- Ensure safety procedures are followed
- Collaborate with team members
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
