Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing new systems, supporting existing designs, supporting operations, and working across all business functions to deliver innovative scientific temperature control systems.

Requirements

• Develop new systems and support existing designs
• Support operations and work across all business functions
• Participate in brainstorming, ideation, and execution of design concepts
• Communicate, negotiate, and report critical design details
• Utilize computer aided design (CAD) tools to design components and assemblies
• Manage and track multiple priorities, resources, and schedule requirements
• Prototype bring-up, debug, and characterization
• Design validation and characterization from prototype bring-up to product testing
• Utilize data acquisition equipment and software to collect functional performance data
• Drive failure analyses to reach design solutions and corrective actions
• Drive design towards performance, cosmetic, noise, and size requirements
• Documentation of thermal/mechanical design requirements
• Participation in product compliance activities
