Archaeologist (On-Call)

Stantec is seeking motivated archaeological team members to join its Environmental Services Cultural Resources Team in Southern California, supporting various projects including utility compliance, relicensing, and CEQA. The role involves assisting with site surveys, cultural resource identification, and providing technical support. Flexible work schedules and mentorship are offered. Opportunities to work on remote projects with multiple offices in Southern California are available.

Requirements

• Directly support archaeological Field Directors and Project Managers
• Identify and record precontact and historic-era cultural resources
• Experience with or willingness to learn digital site mapping with ESRI and ArcGIS
• Professional archaeological technical/field skills
• Timely completion of deliverables
