Job Description
Stantec is seeking a Drainage Engineer to contribute to the development of transportation and infrastructure projects through the implementation of sustainable drainage solutions. The role focuses on hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management, requiring a passion for delivering high-quality designs and analyses. Requirements
- Lead drainage analysis and design for transportation projects.
- Perform hydrologic tasks such as drainage basin delineation, processing topography, soils, and land-use data.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling using tools like HEC-RAS and SRH-2D.
- Design storm sewer systems, roadside ditches, erosion countermeasures, and water quality BMPs.
- Prepare technical reports, exhibits, and stormwater management plans.
- Ensure compliance with FEMA floodplain regulations.
- Utilize Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and MicroStation/Open Roads for data collection and transformation.
