Job Description
Stantec is seeking passionate and energetic individuals for a full-time Ecosystem Restoration Technician position in the Ohio River Valley. This role involves leading field crews, performing field tasks like invasive species control, native seeding, prescribed burning, and brush/tree removal, with a focus on safety, innovation, and quality project delivery. It's a hands-on position with opportunity for leadership and network expansion.
Requirements
- Experience conducting land management and habitat restoration in natural areas.
- Invasive species identification and control (herbicide application, cutting, and mowing).
- Native seeding and planting.
- Prescribed burning.
- Brush and tree removal.
- Equipment operation and use (ATVs/UTVs, tractors, skid loaders).
- Skills in plant identification, ecological restoration, and erosion control.
- Experience with field tasks and documentation.
