Job Description
Stantec is seeking a dedicated Environmental Compliance Specialist to support various environmental programs, including water, waste, air, and regulatory filings. The role involves research, planning, permitting, compliance monitoring, and technical support. Candidates should be focused on safety, quality, and ethical work.
Requirements
- Assist with the execution of multi-media environmental compliance projects for a wide variety of clients.
- Prepare environmental reports, plans, and permit applications.
- Identify applicable environmental regulations.
- Assist project managers with development of permitting and compliance strategies.
- Prepare periodic status/program reports.
- Follow established standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Use engineering principles to provide environmental permitting and planning solutions.
- Willingness to travel is preferred.
