Job Description
Stantec is seeking an Estimator with strong Civil skills in Program Management, specializing in linear capital construction and utility projects (water pipelines, pumps, and conveyance). The role involves reviewing and validating cost estimates, developing methods, assessing projects, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. They partner with clients to deliver transformational project solutions.
Requirements
- Conduct detailed review and validation of cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and bill of materials.
- Assess merit and cost for project changes and claims.
- Coordinate efforts and compile information from other estimating disciplines.
- Develop, maintain, and improve procedures, databases, and tools.
- Perform cost risk assessments and probabilistic simulations.
