Job Description
Stantec is seeking a Project Accountant to manage the financial management of projects within the company's controls, policies, and practices. The role involves financial management, customer service, relationship building, and independent work. The position reports to a Project Accounting Lead and is responsible for project setup, maintenance, invoicing, closure, and delivering a quality of work exceeding expectations.
Requirements
- Financial management of projects assigned by the Project Accounting Lead
- Provide excellent customer service and a customer-centric focus
- Build strong relationships with internal business partners (PMs and PMA)
- Independently organize and prioritize workload
- Implement process or procedural changes
