Project Engineer, Civil/Site Design

Stantec is seeking a motivated Project Engineer for a civil/site design role in Sarasota, Florida. The company focuses on master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, and recreation facilities, working directly with clients and government agencies. This position involves significant projects and collaboration with a team, creating vibrant, resilient, and livable spaces.

Requirements

• Performing all aspects of civil engineering design including layout/geometry, grading, drainage, paving, water, sewer, and erosion control.
• Preparing complete submission packages, supporting calculations, project schedules, and other duties.
• Utilizes technologies in development of three dimensional models of civil systems and provides markups for junior engineers/designers.
• Participates in client project requirement meetings and value analysis, and basic cost estimating.
• Assist Project Manager with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
