Job Description
Stantec is seeking a Senior Ecosystem Restoration Field Technician to lead the development and delivery of ecosystem restoration projects throughout the Midwest. The role involves field work, project management, staff training, and ecological site assessments. This position offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading scientists and is based in Naperville or Monee, IL.
Requirements
- Invasive species identification and control (herbicide spraying and cutting / mowing)
- Native seeding and planting, prescribed burning, and brush / tree removal
- Ecological site assessments
- Interpret restoration plans
- Train and mentor ecosystem restoration staff
- Safety-first mindset and implementation of HSSE standards
