Job Description
Stantec is seeking a Technical Engineer/Environmental Technician to join their team in the Val D'Or or Amos region of Quebec, Canada. The role involves environmental assessment, characterization, and rehabilitation, with a focus on the Abitibi and surrounding areas. It's an opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals in the environment sector on large-scale projects.
Requirements
- Participate in site safety meetings
- Perform site work, under supervision
- Perform soil sampling, sediment sampling, and groundwater sampling
- Supervise surveying and installation of observation wells
- Supervise excavation and site rehabilitation work
- Compile and analyze environmental data
- Assist in Phase I environmental site studies
- Assist with project planning and execution
