Data Centre Critical Infrastructure Engineer

The Data Centre Critical Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of facilities systems at StarHub Data Centres and Offices. The role involves ensuring routine maintenance is carried out according to schedule, planning and managing expansion projects, and enforcing strict security systems.

Requirements

• Appropriate qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications or Facilities Management
• At least 2 years of work experience in facilities area, in particular Data Centre environment
• Good understanding and hands-on servicing experience in all facilities systems and building maintenance
• Class 3 Driving License (Manual Gear)
• Basic networking, broadband access and structure cabling
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD
• Ability to manage and supervise contractors
• Strong drive and willingness to take on challenges
• Good written and oral communications skills
• Ability to interact with people of all levels, especially end customers
• Ability to work independently and perform under pressure
