Fire Extinguisher Technician, Ogden UT

State Fire is looking for a Fire Extinguisher/Hood Suppression Technician to join their team. The position involves inspecting, servicing, and repairing commercial kitchen fire suppression systems, performing annual testing and maintenance of fire extinguishers, and more. The ideal candidate should reside between Bountiful and Ogden, have strong communication skills, and be willing to work occasional overtime and travel overnight when needed.

Requirements

• Must reside between Bountiful and Ogden
• Ability to use hand and battery-operated tools
• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and verbal
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel overnight when needed
