Job Description
The Energy & Environment Program Supervisor/Expert is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of energy or environmental programs. This position involves managing teams, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing expertise in energy or environmental policies.
Requirements
- Supervise a team of professionals in energy or environmental program development and implementation
- Develop and manage large-scale, complex energy or environmental programs across the state
- Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance on policy development, regulatory compliance, and program evaluation
- Monitor program performance, ensure alignment with state and federal laws and standards, and make necessary adjustments to achieve goals
- Manage budgets, grants, and resources for state energy and environmental programs
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive energy or environmental programs
- Report to department leadership on the effectiveness and outcomes of energy or environment initiatives
- Represent the state on national and regional platforms related to energy or environmental issues
