The primary function of the Fire Protection Specialist is to provide life safety inspection expertise for the licensure and certification of health care facilities. The incumbent will perform on-site surveys, document findings and prepare reports.
Requirements
- Fire Safety Inspector I Certification pursuant to Chapter 633.261, F.S. and Chapter 69A-39, F.A.C.
- Two (2) years of professional or paraprofessional experience in fire prevention, fire protection systems installations, or other construction inspection related experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
