68061400 - FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALIST

The primary function of the Fire Protection Specialist is to provide life safety inspection expertise for the licensure and certification of health care facilities. The incumbent will perform on-site surveys, document findings and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Fire Safety Inspector I Certification pursuant to Chapter 633.261, F.S. and Chapter 69A-39, F.A.C.
• Two (2) years of professional or paraprofessional experience in fire prevention, fire protection systems installations, or other construction inspection related experience
• Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
