This is a professional position in the Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention. The position is responsible for administrative oversight of the processing of contract actions for assigned program areas. This includes reviewing contracts, providing technical assistance, and maintaining contract files.
Requirements
- Knowledge of public health care system, quality management practices, and chronic disease prevention and control.
- Knowledge of public health programs, management principles, policies, laws, functions, and practices.
- Ability to develop and write policy, rules, protocols, procedures, manuals, guidelines, grants, and reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and establish effective working relationships with a wide variety of groups.
- Ability to develop educational materials, and plan and conduct trainings.
- Experience in budget, contract, and grant management.
- Willingness to physically come in office to perform the duties & responsibilities of the position.
