SENIOR CHILD PROTECTIVE INVESTIGATOR - 60075296

The Senior Child Protective Investigator will conduct investigations of alleged child abuse, abandonment, neglect, or exploitation, and provide services to families in need. The role requires a strong understanding of child protection practices and a ability to work with families, as well as a valid Florida driver's license and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Requirements

• Conduct investigations of alleged child abuse, abandonment, neglect, or exploitation
• Provide services to families in need
• Maintain thorough documentation in client records and information systems
• Report indications of abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment to the Florida Abuse Hotline
• Provide subject matter expertise to less experienced CPIs
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with organizations and other agencies involved with child protective investigations
