The Division of Rehabilitation Services is seeking a self-motivated and organized individual with strong communication skills to serve as Regional Liaison.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social welfare administration, rehabilitation counseling, social work, vocational guidance or a closely related field
- Two years of experience related to field of specialization
- Two years of professional experience working with a Medicaid waiver program in a public or private organization
- Two years of professional experience working with federal and state requirements for a direct service for individuals with disabilities in a public or private organization
- Two years of professional experience researching and analyzing trends in a direct service program and making recommendations for policy and/or procedural changes and training
- Two years of professional experience working collaboratively to analyze issues and adopt an effective course of action
- Two years of professional experience providing technical assistance and consultation to community providers and staff in the provision of services to eliminate and/or reduce barriers to individuals with disabilities to allow them to function independently
- Two years of professional experience interacting and communicating clearly and effectively both orally and in writing, with a wide range of individuals that include state agency officials, the public, employers, community service providers, and internal and external stakeholders
