The Division of Mental Health is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse for the Chester Mental Health Center. The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care to mentally ill patients and demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved nursing education program resulting in an associate or diploma degree in nursing or a bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Ability to work after business hours, weekends, and holidays on a rotation basis.
- Ability to serve on an on-call basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to acquire and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
- Ability to travel in the performance of job duties.
- Ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers and basic computer skills.
- Ability to physically restrain patients as necessary to prevent injury to patient or others.
