Job Description
The Conflict Public Defender position represents clients in court and provides legal defense in cases involving felony and misdemeanor charges. The Public Defender must have a passion for working with underprivileged populations and must be able to exercise professional judgment and render competent legal services.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school
- Membership in the State Bar of Montana
- Previous experience in criminal defense preferred
