Public Benefits Specialist – Entry

The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a Public Benefits Specialist – Entry to assist Oregonians in person, by phone or email to resolve any questions or concerns with the online Oregon Eligibility system. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering customer service to a diverse customer base and navigating online systems.

Requirements

• Two years of experience working in a reception area or call center
• An associate degree in a Behavioral Science, Social Science or a closely related field
• Ability to adapt communication styles to the intended audience
• Experience navigating online systems, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and search engines
