Job Description
As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, planning, and controlling the delivery process in collaboration with the project manager and development teams. You will manage and optimize the release process in conjunction with the application development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other engineering or technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in Release Management performing responsibilities similar to those described for this role
- 3+ years of experience as an Analyst or Developer on projects utilizing Agile Scrum methodology for system development with scale and scope
- Previous experience in the government or with government clients
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or other project management software
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
