Job Description
Steampunk is a data consulting firm seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build enterprise-grade data platforms and pipelines for clients. The role involves architecting data environments, assessing ETL jobs, and building solutions in cloud, focusing on communication, customer service, and data-driven problem-solving. The company aims to transform the Federal contracting industry through Human-Centered Design and DevSecOps.
Requirements
- Ability to hold a position of public trust with the US government.
- 5-7 years industry experience coding commercial software.
- 5-7 years direct experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge (Postgres, Cassandra).
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift).
